
Ingredients:
- 4-6 garlic cloves, chopped
- 5 oz sun-dried tomatoes in oil
- olive oil
- paprika
- basil
- 1 cup milk
- 1.5 cup shredded cheese of choice
- 6 oz cream cheese
- Cayenne pepper
In a large skillet, sauté the cloves of minced garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes (also include some of the oil for flavor!) in 2 tablespoons of olive oil on medium heat for about 1 minute. Add milk and cream cheese to the same skillet and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to a simmer.
Add in the shredded cheese. Simmer, and stir gently until the cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce. Add 1 tablespoon of dried basil, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and at least 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Stir to combine. Test the flavor & adjust seasonings to your liking. Let continue to cook for 10 more minutes on low, stirring frequently.
Once the sauce is to your liking, remove from heat & serve immediately. Can be served over pasta, chicken, or both! Bon-appetite!
